• I have a problem with webpage of my friend. I’ve changed template theme to Blogito and there are some problems with its visibility on mobile devices. Embedded elements are pushed to the right side, over right frame. The same situation is with links. They are not in several lines. Google Search Console says: Small fonts makes reading hard, Content is wider than screen, Clicable elements are too close. Is it possible to fix these problems? Screenshots included in links.

    Hi @krozycki
    I’m sorry but I can’t open screenshots…
Maybe you could try to open the ticket and attach images there: https://blogonyourown.com/submit-a-ticket/

    Hello, Patryk.

Those links are directly linked to image files at Google Photos. Strange, because I’ve tested these links in incognito / private mode on webbrowsers and they opened without problems for non-logged into Google services and for non-Google users as well.

So, I put them on webserwer under pointed domain –

If there would be any problems again I will drop a ticket to you via contact form.

    Thanks,
may I know what device you used? What browser, OS, resolution?
Did you try to disable plugins temporary to see if it still happens?
Do you have any optimization/caching plugin enabled?
Can you reproduce the same behavior on our demo website: https://blogito1.blogonyourown.com/

Thanks for reply. Sorry for delay. I use SAMSUNG Internet Browser on SAMSUNG Galaxy mobile device. On your demo site with this template there are no such things like issues mentioned above.

I don’t have (precisely: the owner of the webblog doesn’t have) any AMP / cache / optimization module on webpage and/or on server for this site.

I have to talk to the site owner and teach that person how to embed Instagram posts properly, because I think that’s the problem with post list and its visibility on mobile devices.

But there is another issue: on computer browser on single post, when we have set picture to the post, on the left side margin appears. There is no margin on posts list, when posts with featured image are displayed on list. Take a look at screenshot.

    Thanks for info ??
Featured images in single posts are displayed this way by design. The same way as quotes… You may see an example post from demo website here: https://blogito1.blogonyourown.com/2017/05/17/my-name-is-politics-this-is-my-world/
    Is this causing any problems?

    Hello, Patryk.

Sorry for the delay in replaying. Now, I see. Yes – this is it. I didn’t noticed that posts with featured image will be displayed that way. Alternatively: is there a hook to modify CSS to eliminate tha indent in single posts? Because, on posts list and in category posts list everything is displayed well, without that indent.

    Hi @krozycki

for anyone comfortable with CSS it shouldn’t be so hard.
However, because of this intend, there are sections with negative margin which may require changes as well… For example images, quotes, etc.

    Using child theme recommended.
There is at least few ways to change that. You may copy template-parts/content-single.php file and modify that, then modify CSS. The other way – you may do everything just with CSS.
If you’re not experienced with CSS I advice to hire a developer.

Hi, it is not critical service (and I’m not paying for that, because it is not mine) so I won’t hire developers ??

Anyway: thanks for the tip. I’ll try to experiment with template and maybe will be able to modify for owner’s purpose. Eventually I’ll leave it as it is or I’ll be looking for another template to test.

I saw there is often problem with Instagram widget. There is no connection / authorisation, but the Instagram account working properly.

About Instagram connection issue – depends on plugin used… If you use “Social Slider Widget” you should ask here -> https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/instagram-slider-widget/
