Hi @mydigicompany thanks for getting in touch. In order for us to determine the setup failure point can you please confirm the following?

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Are you redirected back to the main Site Kit dashboard directly after clicking on the “Continue” button after selecting your Google account during the OAuth stage? If so please share the full URL you land back on from your browser address bar.

It sounds like you’re being redirected after the OAuth authentication stage. If you want to share any response errors using a plugin such as REST API Log please include that within the form suggested above. After installing and activating you can access “Tools > Rest API Log” and open up any Site Kit related response.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. There are other reports like this at present so once we have the information above we can provide some additional troubleshooting suggestions.

@mydigicompany thanks very much for providing all the information it’s very useful. There is an open GitHub issue for this which you can follow here: https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/4701.

If possible could you perform some additional troubleshooting? During testing once you land back on your wp-admin screen please share the following:

    1. Any browser console errors that appear
    2. Any XHR response on the same URL

If we’re able to obtain the above information I can escalate this with the team or see if there is anything we can determine. Regardless I will certainly let you know if we can determine anything based on the insights we have on the GitHub issue so far.

@mydigicompany Have you tried resetting your Site Kit and trying setup once more? If not you can reset by going to Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit.

Please let me know if this makes any difference.

@mydigicompany thanks for confirming. When submitting your Site Health Info previously I have noticed that Site Kit is missing from your plugins. Would you be able to submit this information again with Site Kit installed and active after hitting the issue please as we can get more insights from this.

@mydigicompany Just checking in here to see if you are still experiencing problems in your Site Kit? If yes would you be able to submit your Site Health as requested above whilst you have Site Kit installed on your site?

@mydigicompany thank you for the information. It would be useful at this point to rule out any potential plugin conflict. We have a guide on using the troubleshooting mode plugin to highlight any plugin conflicts that could be causing issues with Site Kit.

Please could you follow the steps in the guide and let me know if this highlights and plugin conflicts.

@mydigicompany thanks for traying this and your patience throughout. I will discuss this internally with the team and run some further checks. Once complete I will provide you with an update here.

@mydigicompany Having checked the service on the back-end, we can see that you are registered with ‘myadmin‘ in the return URI. I presume that at some point you have updated your admin path to ‘wp-admin‘ We are unable to fix this if you are not connected with Site Kit.

The best way to fix this would be to change your admin path back to ‘myadmin‘ and then complete your Site Kit setup. Once done you will be able to change your admin path back to ‘wp-admin

You could also try changing the value of ‘myadmin‘ to ‘wp-admin‘ in the address bar when you are redirected and continue setup.

Hope this helps and please let me know if you have any further questions.

It was (and still is) my admin URL… Where can i change that anyway ?

    this trick works !
    SiteKit is now enable ??
    many thanks !
