Have you tried smushing one the pictures via the website to make sure it can actually be Smushed? https://smush.it/

The Smush.it plugin uses the Smush.it site to compress the images.. that’s how it works. If the site can’t Smush your image, nor can the plugin. However if the site can Smush the image but the plugin can’t then there could be a bug in the plugin. We need to establish which is true before we can proceed.

Hey, i have got the same problem, any solution yet?

I am suing the latest version of WP and the Plugin, when i go and smush the images through the website it works but not through the plugin, iy says: Bad response from Smush.it

any chance you are running the root relative urls plugin? this strips the website off of the image url so its just /wp-content/….

i think this might be messing up the smush it plugin

This should have been fixed in one of the recent updates, as this thread has been marked resolved I’m assuming an update worked.

Please try updating and if there are still problems post a new topic and we will reply to you asap ??
