• I installed this plugin on a sandbox I use to develop themes and it was working very well, was easy to setup and customize. Once I was happy with it I pushed it over to my client’s site hosted through GoDaddy (I hate them too, believe me). The plugin didn’t work anymore.

Turns out there is an issue GoDaddy builds into php.ini files so that regular consumers can set up their own cart (it’s probably a security measure). After two days of poking around the support site, and digging into GoDaddy I still wasn’t able to fix the issue. I decided to purchase a support package from the plugin developer.

The developer had no problem receiving an electronic payment but never followed up with an email and I just sat waiting for a response after sending him three emails asking for my now paid-for support. Three days passed. Crickets. I eventually got a refund through paypal.

I’ve since moved onto another plugin and would warn people against using this plugin on GoDaddy, Host Gator, DreamHost, etc.
