• Since more than two weeks I have posted a support request to a problem I have with this plugin and now I’m waiting for a simple answer from the plugin author, hoping he can help me out so I can close down the project, but now I’m stuck, waiting for no answer…

  • Support is not guaranteed for free plugins. Remember, the author has built the plugin and given it away for zero charge. Support is a privilege, not a right.

Note: I’m in no way affiliated with this plugin.

Yes, but this doesn’t make it better nor it solves my problem. In this case I did not even install the plug-in, I just have to customize the look&feel. That’s why I prefer to pay a little money and I’m way better of!

well I am sorry that it didn’t solve your problem but it did for thousand others. “a free plugin doesn’t provide support like a paid plugin” doesn’t make the plugin bad or useless. let me remind you that all wordpress plugins (distributed through this site) are licensed under GNU General Public License, version 2 (https://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/gpl-2.0.html). I would encourage you to read “NO WARRANTY” section.

Anyway, I know about the GNU License and I never said that the plugin is bad… actually it is very useful! But I believe that if someone has a problem with something and even if it is the greatest thing in the world, it makes it somehow useless if there is no support to the problem.

On the other side let me add that finally I got a response… so thank you!
