I have several articles with this text: $7.99. The plugin creates a tag “7” for them all. I have other articles with the text: 7-inch and they are also tagged. If I edit the article and manually delete the tag 7 it comes right back again. I changed 7-inch to 7inch and I was able to get rid of the tag.

I believe this is a bug.

Hi @arnoldgma. Thanks for using TaxoPress.

I think there may be a mis-understanding here.

The Free version of plugin doesn’t create new terms for you. Only the Pro version does this.

Can you explain more about what you’re seeing?

Thanks, Steve, well I guess someone accidentally created a tag called “7”. Having trouble getting rid of it. When I manually edit a post that has that tag, I x it out from the list of tags on the post, save the post, but then it comes right back. I’m assuming that TaxoPress is doing that. I guess I should delete the tag itself first, then edit it out of the posts.

    Hi @arnoldgma

The Free version of TaxoPress doesn’t create tags. If a tag exists, the “Auto Terms” feature can be used to scan the content and add it to posts. That might a place to look – see if “Auto Terms” is enabled.
