Bad theme for Newbies – dont use this

  • This theme looks pretty but what a mission to try and customize it. I feel really bad for the newbies who wants to install it, and think that it’ll be easy for them to customize, because it’s not! Took me over 4 days to find out that the main functions for displaying the sections on the home page is kept in a file called “setup.php, under in the “wp-content\themes\allegiant\includes” folder.What a mission. Lucky for me I have 16 years experience in programming which allowed me to customize the code so that this theme could work correctly for me.

    I’m sorry for the poor experience you had with our theme. While I do understand your frustrations with the theme, why do you say that you had to edit the code of the theme?
    Changing the theme’s core code means you know what you’re doing in there. If you had trouble editing files, you should have reached to our support team.

    We would have been more than happy to point you in the right direction and help you save time.

    I’m very glad though that your 16 years of experience have helped you achieve your end goal. Next time, if you’re running into a problem with the theme, please reach out to us ?? I’ll personally make sure your request gets handled in the shortest possible time.

    P.S: We also have it hosted over at GitHub, where you can submit a pull request if you think anything should be addressed/changed.
    P.P.S: We’ve internally created a framework that was used across all CPO themes so it cuts development times considerably. I’m pretty sure that once you’ll get the hang of it, you’ll love it as much as we do.

    you display Premium theme as a demo, free version is absolutely different + always no demo content available, no support. You must show FREE themes here, not a premium.
    Extremely unprofessional
