    Hi

Please dont mind I know its a free plugin but still I just updated to v3.5 from v2.x

    I just HATE the update.

I dont want the emails to be sent to customers from feedback [at] cusrev.com

I dont want the sender name to be as set by you domain.com via Customer Reviews

I want emails to go from my server only.

    Your old template looked better.

I dont want the customer to go to your form https://www.cusrev.com/forms/test/nutrabay.com.html to review, there was nothing wrong with them landing on product page review section.

the merge tag for {order_items} dont work anymore.

Please a humble request to email me the old 2.x plugin (it was 100% perfect with no issues) zip file please share your email i will write to you.

Seems like were are trying to improve something which was already perfect in v2.x but is now falling down in 3.x.

Thanks for using my plugin and your feedback!

You can download zip file of any version of the plugin from this page: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/customer-reviews-woocommerce/advanced/.

If you want, you can go back to the previous version but I don’t recommend you this. The reason is very simple – you will be loosing competition with other shops that have the latest version of the plugin.

For example, if your competitor installs the latest version of my plugin, they will be constantly receiving more customer reviews than your shop because:

    1) Their customers will review all the products from their orders at once and on a single page. On the other hand, your customers will probably review only one product from their orders because it is a hassle to go back and forth between different product pages and the email with review links. So, if an average order includes 2-3 products, your competitors will receive 2-3 times more reviews than you.

    2) As an e-commence shop owner, you should be aware of the importance of page load speed and that it strongly affects behavior of web shoppers. The latest versions of the plugin generate review form pages that are optimized for speed and are loaded blazingly fast compared to WordPress sites. The conversion rate for submission of reviews will be higher in those shops that are using the new review forms because customers won’t be bothered with waiting for a page to load.

    3) Your competitors will be receiving more reviews than your shop because their customers won’t need to deal with authentication (entering correct email or even login to WordPress) for leaving a review. This is a step that makes submission of reviews more difficult for customers and the latest version of the plugin cleverly makes it unnecessary. So, again a higher conversion rate for submission of reviews.

Ultimately, it is your choice to stick with the old version of the plugin but this choice will leave you with a significantly less effective review collection system and eventually lead to less sales.
