• Updates are often usefull… unfortunately the latest updated messed up everything for me. Good that I made a backup of the plugin before updating…

    a) Post feature Image does no longer automatically open in Fancybox (before the update it did)

    b) Images within articles do no longer open in Fancybox (before the update it did)

    c) Still viewport-problems on iPad and iPhone (not centered and on the right a big space) and you don′t get to the next or previous picture when tapping on the arrows (on iPad and iPhone)

And yes: All settings are set correctly. All images are automatically linked to the Fancybox. Before the update it worked, after the update it does not. And unfortunately still not resolved issues for iDevices.

    Why?

  • Hi mdidesign, sorry to hear that something went wrong on your site. Can you share a link so I can take a look?

About the ‘iDevices’, there is not much I can do about that. The FancyBox script that is used in this plugin is not suited for mobile devices… There will come a release with the new FancyBox2 script but not this one yet.

Hello, the site is in development and will soon start. Do you use Skype? I’d like to show you the problem.

    Hello?

Hi mdidesign, did you clear your browser cache to make sure it’s not because of the old js file? And also make sure the stylesheet can be loaded. Visit the easy-fancybox.css.php file (you can find the URL in your page source) with a browser. It should produce a (minified) stylesheet. If not, you might be suffering the same issue as https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/500-internal-server-error-227

    Hello,

I don′t get it running well: Look at my new website https://www.meer-der-ideen.de/windosill-denkspiel-app/ and see the feature image on top and the two screenshots inside the article. They both load in a new window (just the jpg). Before the update both were correctly shown in a lightbox.

What am I doing wrong here?

    Regards!

What browser are you using? When I visit your site in the Chromium browser, all works well…

You are right. You were right: It was a cache problem ?? When will a lightbox be released which works perfectly with touch devices? If you need help, we could work together on such a thing.

Okay, have to take back my last post: It does not work again. Now the feature image and pictures inside a post load… but when switching to the next picture there is a problem. I click for example on the right for the next picture… the picture disappears and leaves a white space (lightbox still visible)… the “Close”-graphic disappears, too, just the canvas is left. And nothing more happens. I cleared cache and everything. But it does not work :-/ Same URL… the problem appears on my whole blog.

PS: Does just seem to appear in Chrome. :-/

Again, in Chromium, it works fine… Only thing I notice is there are no arrow icons showing on mouse hover over the left/right (previous/next) areas. No idea why that is. All CSS looks good.

I do notice a list of errors in console which might cause issues:

Uncaught ReferenceError: pollsL10n is not defined default.include-body.a144a7.js:3

    Hello

i had to do a “display: none: for the arrows because otherwise navigation would not work on ipad and iphone for lightbox. Bit as I said: it works on other browsers (even with no arrows). The javascript errors do not come from my side. It is all Google Adsense, I cannot change anything here. Adsense ismcorrectly implemented.

Dont have any idea to solve this problem. What about my question about a touchfriendly version ?

PS: Does just seem to appear in Chrome. :-/

Just tested in Google Chrome 28.0.1500.52 (on Linux though) and all appears fine…

FancyBox2 is said to be touchfriendly. I am planning on adding fancyBox2 but don’t have much time at the moment.
