• I have setup a site with the automatic app installer from my host, the site is in a subidrectory. The problem is the site is showing a strange url like https://somename.com:/sudir I dont know here that : after the .com came from ???..

    anyhelp is appreciated

    I think ask the host about that app installer;

    Normally that : is used if you installed server on different post

    somename.com:80

    maybe you have a space in a port field so it shows the : but nothing for the port.

    The app-installer, doesn’t ask anything about the ports or ips, just a directory to install wp into. I installed a wp manually and it had nothing like that colon.

    some images stop appearing if the urls having a colon without a port.

    I’ll ask the host and post the reply here if it could be of use..
