Bad user experience

    Thanks for providing a perfect working backup plugin for many, many years now, and for free. It still works in the new version 5, but as many others have already said before: The new user experience is very bad. I never saw a UI like this before! Very uncomfortable and very strange (3 vertical points for date values?).

    Of course I understand the fact that it will not be possible anymore to create more backup jobs in the free version. This is normal if anybody wants to earn money with software. For me, the two default backups are enough. But many others will have to reinstall the old version 4 or have to change to another plugin.

    Thank you so much for your continued support over the years and for sharing your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear that the new UI hasn’t met your expectations. We are actively working on improvements to make the experience more intuitive and user-friendly.

    Regarding the two-job limitation, we want to clarify that it was never our intention to restrict functionality for monetization purposes. Our goal was to simplify the plugin for non-technical users, but we recognize the need for more flexibility. We’re committed to removing this limitation for all users in upcoming updates.

    In the meantime, if you prefer the previous interface, you can roll back to version 4 while we continue making refinements to version 5.
