    Hello,

I’m setting up a badge. I have a full colored image in the default image and in the area at the right, I entered a greyed out version as it says “Optional image to show when a user has not earned this badge.”

My assumption based on the text is that the grey image should show on the badge page if they have not earned the badge but the color image if they have. But the grey image always shows as the primary image on the badge page whether or not I have earned the badge. The colored badge, however does show up correctly in the user profile.

Is there a way to get it to show the grey badge on the badge page if the user has not earned the badge, or should I just forget about this?

    Thanks

    Hello @tricheryltops,

    Thanks for contacting us,

I hope you are doing well, In badges you can create multiple levels. There are shortcodes available for showing users earned badges and all published badges. You can use the shortcodes for displaying users earned badges. It will show the image which the user has earned . For instance the user is on level 1 it will show level 1 image.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi

Thanks, but that wasn’t really my question. From the create a badge page I thought it was implying that you could add an image — for instance a greyed out one — that would show on the badge page if the user had not yet earned that badge. It doesn’t work that way…if not, that’s OK. I’ve used Gamipress before and the badge page is set up like that and it seemed to me from the editor that this was as well.
    Thanks
