• I am a newbie when it comes to designing a webpage. I like WordPress because it makes it easy for people like me. However, I have run into a snag when it comes to putting badges and social links. I want people to follow a link to my Pinterest board. I followed the directions by going to Pinterest, getting the code for my board and pasting it into my WordPress widget for social under Pinterest. When I view the page and test the link I get a page that reads Whoops this board is not found.

Another problem I have is linking my Angie’s List Badge. I do the same thing. Go to Angie’s List copy the code following their instructions, then I paste it into my text widget on WordPress. When I view it the badge icon doesn’t show up but instead it shows my code that I copied and pasted.
Edit: Angie’s List badge seems to work with the Sidebar but not the Footnotes. I had to alter the footnote with something else for now.

I also do not want the Meta stuff in sidebar or footnotes showing up. Why would I want customers to see that? And I can’t get rid of it.
