Badges Disappeared

Also, I updated a few plugins right before I did this, however they badges were working in between that time and the time that I added the new achievement type.

Some questions for you.

What version of BadgeOS are you running, and are you running BuddyPress/BadgeOS Community Addon as well?

We had some issues with the 4.2.0 release that was changing achievements to the “post” post type, after that release had code added meant to update associations in the database when a user renamed their achievement type. The data was never lost completely, there just needed to be some adjustments in the database.

Yeah, that’s likely the culprit then. Sadly I don’t know if anyone found a solution to why the Community Addon was still being troublesome with that aspect.

I really wish I had a better answer regarding this at the moment as well.

Like I mentioned, the data doesn’t get lost, it just switches post types. I know that I’ve had a lot of success with https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/post-type-switcher to get them back, but obviously it’s not a permanent solution by any means.

Can you confirm if this is still an issue with BadgeOS 1.4.4?
