    Using myCRED 1.6.1

    Hello;

I’m having a small issue with a site I’m putting together. Basically points are assigning the way they’re supposed to, however badges are not. If I click the “Assign Badge” button on each respective badge’s edit screen, then the badge assigns to all users that it should with no issues, however they’re still not automatically assigning to users when the specified benchmarks are reached.

All badges in the site are affected. In order to test, I’ve created a few new badges using different hooks and the behavior is the same. I’ve tested badges associated with points for registering, points for logging in, and points for creating content all with the same result.

Here is a list of active plugins within the site:

    • 5sec Google Maps 1.6
    • Access 1.2.3
    • BackUpWordPress 3.1.4
    • bbPress 2.5.4
    • BP Limit Group Membership (no version listed)
    • BuddyPress 2.2.1
    • BuddyPress Activity Privacy 1.3.3
    • Disable Comments 1.2
    • Display Post Meta 1.5
    • Duplicate Post 2.6
    • Insert Pages 2.0
    • myCRED 1.6.1
    • Restrict Usernames 3.5
    • Types – Complete Solution for Custom Fields and Types 1.6.5.1
    • User Name Availability Checker for wordpress/buddypress 1.0.4

There are two other custom written plugins that I’ve put together for this site, one of which is:

    https://pastebin.com/t1BiFbEh

The other of which is proprietary and my agreement with the client specifies that I can’t share it on a public forum, but I should be able to answer any specific questions regarding it or provide an alternate means of sharing the source code.

    Thanks in advance.

Same problem for me on 1.6.2

    Hi.

Try re-publishing all badges in your admin area as it has been reported to resolve this issue for some myCRED users.

    – Go to the myCRED > Badges page.
    – Check the checkbox in the top of the list selecting all badges.
    – In the “Bulk Actions” dropdown menu select to edit the badges.
    – In the inline-editor select Publish for the status field.
    – Save.

If you have multiple point types setup, make sure you have selected the appropriate point type for your badges.

Thanks. I’ve tried the above without success, however I’m not going to exhaust any additional effort trying to troubleshoot as I’ve been able to accomplish what I need using BadgeOS in combination with myCRED. Given that the issues I’m having with myCRED badges are probably due to a conflict with another plugin, it would be uneconomical for me to spend any more or my time or any more of your time trying to find a resolution as I can’t eliminate any of the other plugins I have enabled at the moment (for the sake of reference, I’d since disabled “Display Post Meta”, “Insert Pages”, and “Restrict Backend Content” as I’ve eliminated the need for them, but the issue persists).

    Thanks a bunch anyway.
