• You can’t actually access the responses to your form without paying! The plugin doesn’t make this clear to begin with. If your email settings weren’t set up right, you will lose all of your responses.

    Hey @teddyort,

We apologize for any trouble you might’ve run into and any loss of data experienced while using WPForms Lite! Our team has made sure that the free version of WPForms has everything necessary to help you create basic forms on your site.

WPForms Lite does not store form submissions in WordPress, though you can certainly set up form notification emails to send form submission details to your preferred email address(es). We do try to clarify this with the entry page notice in Lite and I’m sorry if you missed this. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on how we can improve this.

In order to try recovering the lost leads, some hosting providers do log emails that are sent out from the sites they host. So if you need to try and recover undelivered emails, the best next step in trying to find records of previous entries is to contact your site’s hosting provider to ask if this setting is enabled on your server.

Since it appears that you are facing an email delivery issue, I’d recommend checking if your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial. Please note that this is a wider issue that affects all the plugins on your site that send email notifications.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

@nikana2000 I’m sorry for the trouble here, if you’ve already configured an SMTP plugin, would you mind contacting our team through our WPForms Lite www.ads-software.com support forum? If you are seeing blank notifications, it is possible that the {all_fields} smart tag might not be present on the email notifications body and we’ll be happy to advise about this. Our forum is regularly monitored by actual members of our support team so you can rest assured that any answers you receive there are coming from our own experts.

If we can help resolve this and any other issues you might be running into with WPForms then please feel welcome to reach out to us on the support forum.

    Thanks!
