Ban IPs – Blocking – CIDR Notation
-
Please advise if CIDR notation can be used to block ranges of IP addresses. The current help dialog indicates that ranges can be specified using the following notations:
Example 1: 195.47.89.*
Example 2: 195.47.*.*
Example 3: 195.*.*.*Since not all blocked IPs fit Class A, B, or C IP ranges, but rather CIDR subnets of the aforementioned, this functionality would be most kindly appreciated.
Please advise.
Thanks, kindly
