Ban spam IP’s from commenting on my blog?

  • I am getting some comments from spammers on my blog, for example:

    Lose weight fast – Cheap phentermine online
    I found your entry interesting so I have added a TrackBack to it on my weblog

    Trackback by Cheap phentermine online.

    Is there some way I can ban the IP from this spammer? Or some other way than IP banning?

    and yes I’m using this hack of wordpress: WordPress ME for XOOPS 0.33 (https://wordpress.xwd.jp/ & https://www.kowa.org/)
