Banned Users Not Working

    Hello,

    I have a problem on a site where every time I select “enable ban users” and click save, then I return to the settings it remains unchecked.

    I have disabled every plugin and get the same results. Currently there are 30 site lockout notification emails in my inbox of different IP’s trying to do harm. I’d love to ban those IP’s and I appreciate any help discovering why I can’t get this setting to stay on. Thank you!

    Next time either open your own topic or post to a non resolved identical topic … don’t do both.

    The settings are probably not saved because of invalid input …

    (Below applies for single site WP only … not multi site).
    After saving the settings at the top of the Settings page you’ll get notified whether the settings were saved successfully or, if not, what error occurred.

    Try and enter\save 1 ip address after another …

    My apologies, it was the second time in just a few days that I’ve been hit with 30+ site lockout notifications that all flow in within a minute of each other. Suffice it to say I was a bit concerned about finding a fix.

    It was because I had the wildcard entries incorrectly entered. Thanks for the help!
