Banner doesn't appear

I installed your plugin and configured it to show a simple message at the top of my site, but nothing appears at all. I’m using WordPress 4.2.2, running AccessPress Pro theme.
Any help would be greatly appreciated since your plugin would be just what I need! Thanks.
