• Hi,

I am trying to upload a static banner image and have re-sized my image according to your demo site dimensions 2560×850 and am still finding that I have additional “body background colour” showing at the top and bottom of the image. Ideally I would like the banner image to blend into the header colour and breadcrumb bar colour. Is there a different image dimension I need to use?

Secondly, I’ve installed the social icon widget in my breadcrumb bar but cannot seem to right align it so it appears next to the search bar (as seen in your demo site). Can you please assist?

Also, love the theme, it is easy to customize.navigate and the tutorials are very helpful! Thank you!

If I can get you to post a link to your site, I will be happy to check this out; I can view the source code to see what is up.

Regarding the social icons, the theme has it’s own social icons built-into it so you would create a social menu and assign it to the Social menu location. If you still plan to use the social widget, you might have to do some custom CSS modifications to the plugin if it’s causing some layout problems. Ideally, the breadcrumbs sidebar was really meant to be used for the user’s choice of breadcrumb plugins that have a widget for it.

I haven’t launched it yet as I am waiting to fix all the kinks before it goes live. Sorry, I am very new to WordPress and it’s taking me a while to figure out! Is there a way for me to shoe you without launching the site?

First, no worries about being new to WordPress…I’m here to help.

Did you use an image widget (plugin) or text widget to add a banner image? Also, if you used a text widget, did you make sure the box near the bottom of the text widget is unchecked next to automatically add paragraphs? And one more thing…does your widget have a title to it?

Hi! I have the same banner problem. When I view the source code there is a size restriction for the image to 750 px that I haven’t put there. The image uploaded is bigger. Site is linneahaden.se
