Banner not showing

    a question / problem which is mentioned many times in the forum, but I can’t seem to find a solution. The problem probably lies in my sites installed theme, but I lack the proper knowledge to filter it out: after installing and going through all the steps there is no banner popping up on my site.

    Hi @klvrsd,

    Did you complete the Complianz wizard already? The cookie blocker does not seem to be activated either, as YouTube video’s are shown before consent.

    Hi Leon, many thanks for the very quick reply.

    You are correct.
    Because my site was blocking the video’s which is a big part of functionality of the site, I decided to bypass this so my site is still reachable.

    @klvrsd Just to be sure, have you reached 100% in the Complianz Dashboard?

    @klvrsd Could you try if temporarily switching to another theme (e.g. twenty twenty) solves the problem? It seems that your theme is using an old version of jQuery, which could be an issue since WordPress 5.5

    Many thanks Leon, another theme does show the pop up.
    Is there a solution for the Query-error?

    You can try to load jQuery 3.5.1 by implementing this script:
    <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.1/jquery.min.js"></script>

    Please let us know if this solves the problem, and does not cause new problems on your site.
