Banner not working after updates

Do me a favor, go into the appBanners.php line: 96 change

‘layer’ => false,

to

‘layer’ => true,

and see if that corrects your issue.

Matt I have done this change and its not showing up on either Android Chrome or iOS.

Also I am trying to always show banner with both relevant values set to zero.

Any advice?

You misread my post. I was showing you that on “Haggle” page I got your plugin working beautifully but I am still having trouble with the “Hand of god App” website which has the Divi theme: https://www.handofgodapp.com/

I am sorry! Okay I just looked and it is definitely a CSS issue with z-index. By default AppBanners uses z-index: 9998; it looks like your DIVI header uses z-index: 99998;

So that being said, I would add the following to your theme styles

#smartbanner {
    z-index: 99999!important;
}

And see if that works.

Looks like you need to enter in the icon URL and you will be good to go. Your Styles were probably cached.. just do a hard refresh to see them.

OK the Hand of god Advert is working on iPhone 6 Plus and Android but I can’t get it to work on my iPhone 5 despite flashing Safari. What is the issue there?

The Plugin doesn’t do anything for iOS devices running iOS6+ all device running iOS6+ use Safari’s built in App Banner support with meta tags
