Banner re-appears after acceptance since wordpress 5.2.1

  • Since upgrading to wordpress 5.2.1, when a visitor selects either choice in the notice, the notice re-appears when they navigate to a new page. If they return to the page where they made their original choice, the notice is hidden (as it should be).

    This was working fine until the latest wordpress release. Can you investigate please?
