How can I remove this big banner that was installed from a zip file on my site? It makes it impossible to see my theme.

it might help if you post a link to your site to illustrate the problem.

are you talking about the ‘which ipad is right for you’ at the top of the content area?

posssibly done with a plugin: something with ‘affiliatecashsniper’ (??)

or by code – look into content.php of your theme.

    btw:
before you make any further edits to your theme, create a child theme to work with https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Child_Themes – do not edit the default theme Twenty Eleven directly.

The affiliatecashsniper is what I want to remove.
    What should I do?

How did you add that to your installation? Was it via a plugin that you installed?

Hi Jan, I followed some instructions from a software from “Affliatecashsnipers” that I am no longer with and that’s why I want to remove that.I really don’t know but I could have done it from the plugin of wordpress. It has taken a whole lot of my space and I can’t even see the theme that I installed. Thanks for your concern,Jan.

Removing it depends on how it was added. Using a plugin is the easiest way to insert something above a post like that (very easy in fact). But it also could have been easily added by editing a theme file.

If you recall or find a link on how it was added, it would make it easier for us to explain how it could be removed.
