Banner/header image ONLY on Home page

  • I have VERY little experience with themes and WordPress. My issue is how to keep the large image I have on the Home page ONLY on the Home page. It shows up on every page now. I’m using a free theme called Pure & Simple also. I created a collage photo for the Home page and that’s all I want there. So can I also remove the text at the bottom that I’m assuming is where I would add my custom text.
