Banner’s text Ads \\\\ for each save when it has a URL

  • Hi.

    Each time I save the Gear theme options, the Banner’s text box saves 2 URL I have listed there (for RSS or email subscription) with an extra \ escape character. I’m using wordpress 2.7.1.

    When I was working on selecting a header and background, it added around 15 \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ in a row like this:

    <a href="\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\https://website.com"\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\>text to show</a>

    This of course, renders the link useless. I think this is a bug ??
