Bar hiding menu items + font size

Hi there,

The bar is covering the menu items. I’ve tried to make the bar height smaller (not the best fix, but sort of working) and make the text smaller. Two questions:

1) Text resizing via CSS doesn’t seem to be working. Anyway to make the text smaller?

2) Is there a way to make the bar fixed to the top to push my menu items below?
