Barra lateral do WooCommerce

    Olá! Estou criando um site no qual exibirei um catálogo de produtos apenas para que os clientes visualizem, ou seja, n?o haverá vendas, apenas exibi??o de fotos de produtos e suas respectivas descri??es. Estou usando a vers?o 6.6.2 do WordPress, o tema Sydney, o Elementor e o WooCommerce atuais, todos em vers?o gratuita. Estou seguindo uma aula da Udemy que fiz há um tempo atrás, na qual há a exibi??o do recurso de “Barra Lateral do Woo Commerce” em aparência > widgets. Só que essa barra n?o existe no meu WordPress. O que fazer? Preciso configurar algo? Há algum pluguin substituto do WordPress para essa ausência/falha? Aguardo retorno de vocês no [email protected].

    Just to make sure we’re on the same page: Can you share a screenshot of the sidebar / widget you’re expecting to see? It could be a case that the video content of the Udemy course is referencing an older version of WooCommerce / WordPress but we’d need to make sure we’re looking at the same thing ??

A tela que você pede, que é a que exibe a “Barra lateral do WooCommerce”, é exibida aos 9:24 minutos dessa aula 98.     N?o sei se você conseguirá acessar essa aula. Ent?o, vou descrever aqui as vers?es que eu estou usando e aquelas que ele usou na aula desse link.
    1. Quanto aos recursos de WordPress que estou usando em LOCALHOST (n?o estou com o site hospedado em provedor) s?o: WordPress 6.6.2, Elementor 3.24.7, WooCommerce 9.3.3 e tema Sydney para WordPress, tudo em vers?o gratuita. Melhor explicando a situa??o: nesta aula 98 (que usa o tema Ocean Wp, e n?o o Sydney como estou usando) quando se acessa o caminho: aparência >personalizar >widgets, aparece disponível a tal “barra lateral do wooCommerce”. No entanto, com os recursos que uso na descri??o acima (todos muito atuais), essa barra lateral do wooCommerce n?o aparece… Aparece apenas a “lateral padr?o”, entende?
    2. Quanto às vers?es que o professor usa nesta ANTIGA AULA (4 anos atrás) s?o: WordPress 5.6, Elementor 2.7.5, WooCommerce 4.5.2 e Tema Ocean WP 1.8.9, tudo igualmente gratuito.

    Fico aguardando o seu parecer sobre a inexistência dessa “Barra lateral do WooCommerce” e sobre o que fazer para suprir essa falta. Obrigada!

The screen you’re asking for, which is the one showing the “WooCommerce sidebar”, is shown at 9:24 minutes into this lesson 98.     I don’t know if you’ll be able to access this lesson. So I’m going to describe here the versions I’m using and the ones he used in the lesson at this link.

    1. The WordPress resources I’m using on LOCALHOST (I don’t have the site hosted by a provider) are: WordPress 6.6.2, Elementor 3.24.7, WooCommerce 9.3.3 and the Sydney WordPress theme, all free versions. To explain the situation better: in this 98 class (which uses the Ocean Wp theme, not Sydney as I’m using it) when you go to: appearance > customize >widgets, the “wooCommerce sidebar” appears. However, with the resources I use in the description above (all very up-to-date), this wooCommerce sidebar doesn’t appear… Only the “standard sidebar” appears, you see.
    2. As for the versions that the professor uses in this OLD CLASS (4 years ago), they are: WordPress 5.6, Elementor 2.7.5, WooCommerce 4.5.2 and Ocean WP Theme 1.8.9, all equally free.

    I’m waiting for your opinion on the lack of this “WooCommerce sidebar” and what to do about it. Thank you!

    I’m unable to access the link you shared, as it requires a login to a Udemy account.

    Based on your description, it’s likely a feature of the theme.
    However, since these videos are older, the theme may have been updated and changed since then.

    The best way forward would be to reach out to your Udemy instructor or ask fellow students in your class. They should be able to view the same content and offer some guidance.
