    Hi,

I would like to be able to use your Ticketing system as a backend for guests too.

However, I wish to display to them only a basic contact form.

    Name: –
    Email: –
    Subject: –
    Message: –

Would this be possible to setup and link into your system?

I noticed you also have an add-on “E-Mail Support” which might be able to help here too. Guests can reply by email, then we can either login or email back?

    Also,

I originally purchased this plugin from here…

WP Awesome Support – Responsive Ticket System (version 3.1.6)
    https://codecanyon.net/item/wp-awesome-support-responsive-ticket-system/4619686

But it’s gone, is this the same plugin, yet free now (just with paid add-ons)? I don’t actually mind previously paying for it, it’s a good product, but just wondering if it’s the same or not.

    Hi,

This plugin is not really the same as the one you bought on CodeCanyon. This version is very different in the sense that it’s been re-written from the ground up. Version 2 and version 3 are actually not compatible.

Now, I’m not sure I fully understand your question. Do you with to use the plugin to display a contact form like form on the front-end of your site with custom fields?

Regarding the e-mail support addon, that’s exactly what it does. Both your users and you can reply directly by e-mail.

Finally, if you’ve purchased the previous version on CodeCanyon, you can get a couple of addons for free: https://getawesomesupport.com/envato-license-migration/

Thanks for clarifying the swap over and offer.

Also good news about the e-mail support addon, I’ll most likely put that to good use.

    As for the contact form:

It can be just basic fields written in PHP or WordPress. To look like those simple basic contact forms you see on many other websites. Just asking for name, email, subject, and their message.

I just want to link those frontend custom fields into your plugin via the PHP backend or some function calls. It would just need to grab those fields and create the new ticket for them.

The difference would be they don’t get that ticketing side to reply back via the website, rather just email only.

Members will have the full ticketing system inside their area.

Guests however will just get the contact forum. Saves me from using another WordPress ‘Contact Us Form’ plugin as well and would keep them functioning together in the backend.

The problem with this is that Awesome Support currently doesn’t support anonymous submissions. It is possible to achieve what you want to do but it will require a lot of customization.

We are planning to add anonymous submission but it is currently not a priority.

    Okay, thanks anyways.

Would it be straight forward to do if it was linked to a WordPress User?

Yeah it would definitely be a lot easier. Either you would use the standard submission page with custom fields, or you could build your own form, add your custom fields to AS and use the Ticket API to create new tickets.
