    After the update everything I need is back again. After the update, I can understand that some features require a subscription and I am happy that not all do anymore.

    Old review which comments rely on until 11/25
    Before the buy out this was my go-to plugin for gdpr related questions, but they kicked themselves out of the game with their new payment model. even the dark mode is not available! not able to change the postion for top / bottom!! the cookie bar is not visible anymore since my theme’s menu bar is on top of the bar. great! so if the website is getting checked now it seems that I dont adhere to the law.
    the license is 35€ a year… wtf. wont use it anymore, thank god there are alternatives.
    dont have problems paying for support but this is just greed at its worst.

    Hi Jonars,

    we just released the new version today and as it seems this is was really a bug, as we offer the same options for free users as before and also a lot more. For example free users now also get the pop up which was only available for premium users before.

    I think its fair to say that if you use your website for anything commercial we can charge a bit to keep our service alive and for the rest of the users we offer the free version.

    We are still the same people as before and we will continue to improve the free version also ?? So dark mode, positioning and text editing will be available also in the free version in V 3.0.3.

    Hallo stf2000,

    unser Plugin hat sich wesentlich ver?ndert, wir haben auch extra eine notice rausgegeben das ab V3 gro?e Ver?nderungen gekommen sind.

    Bitte nimm dir kurz Zeit und richte das Plugin nochmal neu ein, wenn du dann noch immer unzufrieden bist, tut es uns leid, aber wir machen das mit den besten Absichten und nicht weil wir euch Arbeit verursachen wollen ??

    @shapepress easy to say it was a bug and i’m be happy if it is true. the shortcode is also not working anymore which is crucial.

    @jonars it was and please fill out all your informations in the backend first. (We will put a info in the backend that this is crucial for the right legal texts to load.)

    Alright, thanks, had to use another plug in which is working more intuitive for now but will check out the next release.

    @jonars sure and we will improve the installation process to be as easy as possible, but for now it was our first priority to be legally secure for the gdpr.

Therefore, we needed to make some fundamental changes. Yes, the tool needs some information and requires you to fill out forms. But this information is crucial to provide your web users with a legal web experience and save you from potential fines and other troubles.

    @jonars As you speak english: our Plugin uses legal texts which are translated by a pro court translator. This could be important to you.
