hello, I’m testing the free version but I already see some issues:

    • it doesn’t fit into my theme, for instance my “no footer” template is not working, and Tutor shows the footer (with some nasty layout bugs)
    • I use Wpbakery, but I don’t see any shortcode generated for the pages. How can I build a page?
    • I was expecting some pages to be created, or at least one page like your demo. But I cannot test any dashboard page.

It goes without saying that I’m NOT going to change my theme, if that is what you are about to suggest ??

  • Hey @devsaredead,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback with us! We’re glad to see that you’re exploring Tutor LMS, and we want to ensure that you have the best possible experience as you continue testing our platform. Let’s address the points you’ve raised:

    1. Compatibility Considerations: WordPress offers a vast ecosystem of choices, and while not all plugins and themes are fully compatible, it’s part of the platform’s flexibility. You’ll be pleased to know that with the upcoming Tutor LMS 3.0 release, we’re introducing Droip, a no-code website builder integrated within Tutor LMS. This new feature will provide even more design flexibility and compatibility across various setups. You can explore more about this exciting update here: Tutor LMS 3.0 Sneak Peek.

    2. Using Shortcodes with WPBakery: Tutor LMS shortcodes can be easily integrated into your WPBakery pages. To do this, navigate to WPBakery settings and map the desired shortcodes. For more detailed guidance on using Tutor LMS shortcodes, you can refer to our documentation here.

    3. Regenerating Default Pages: If any default pages are missing, they can be regenerated by going to Tutor LMS > Tools > Tutor Pages and clicking on “Re-generate Tutor Pages.” This will restore any missing pages, including the dashboard. Additionally, the left panel menus in the dashboard are fully customizable to suit your needs.

    4. Experience with Tutor LMS: We understand that transitioning to a new theme can be challenging, but we are confident that once you experience Tutor LMS’s full potential, you will appreciate its convenience and flexibility. With the upcoming Tutor LMS 3.0, you’ll have even more opportunities to customize and enhance your site. We encourage you to explore these new features to see how they can benefit your setup. hi @maizul , I’m persuaded of TutorLMS, I just want to be sure it has no conflicts with my theme or whatsoever before committing into the Pro version. My theme is one of the most popular (Salient), and always updated, so it’s a surprise that I have problems like this one or this one.

I would think that adding builder Droip on top of the existing Wpbakery would just cause more risks of conflicts. Besides, I don’t really know how to use the shortcode mapper… it looks like it needs to enter them manually.

But really, instead of creating many pages isn’t it easier to be able to create a page like yours? Maybe TutorLMS can be installed on a subdomain and work independently from WordPress? (in that case it would make sense to have a dedicated theme).

    What do you reckon?

I was expecting some feedback, this doesn’t look inviting for buying a pro version. There’s no way of putting shortcodes into a Wpbakery html element, meaning that it’s not possible to customize a page; moreover there’s no way of integrating the dashboards into the Woo my-account page; and by the way, refreshing the page for just switching tabs it’s not nice for performance.

Oh, not to mention your xml demo data that redirects to a pdf !

    So far, a total failure.

    Hi @devsaredead ,

Thank you for your patience regarding your inquiry. Regarding the integration of Tutor LMS with the Salient Theme, please note that while Tutor LMS is compatible with many popular themes, we cannot guarantee a seamless user experience since there is no direct integration with Salient.

As for using WPBakery alongside the new Droip no-code website builder, it ultimately depends on your preferences as a user. Tutor LMS offers the flexibility to utilize different builders, and Droip is designed to enhance that experience.

If you’re looking for guidance on using the shortcode mapper in WPBakery, you can find helpful instructions in this documentation: Shortcode Mapper Guide.

Tutor LMS provides built-in pages that can be customized to your needs, similar to the examples shown in this link: Tutor LMS Demo. You can explore this further by installing the TutorStarter Theme along with the Tutormate plugin.

Additionally, we’re unclear about your mention of “integrating the dashboards into the WooCommerce my-account page” and your comment regarding the “XML demo data redirecting to a PDF.” Please provide more details, and we would be happy to assist you with these concerns.

Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are continuously working to improve Tutor LMS for all users.

    Best regards,

Thank you for the reply. I couldn’t stress myself further and I have actually decided that it was not wise to have an LMS under WordPress, so I decided to go for a SAAS. Keep up the spirit anyway ??
