Basic portfolio item question

  • Hi

    I dont quite understand how wordpress works in regard to portfolio items. So I have a portfolio ‘page’, this has nothing on it just a template (portfolio) and amount of items to use. I have portfolio items in that menu, but how do the portfolio parts go onto the portfolio page? I dont see any option to say ‘attach to portfolio page’ ?

    I have just decided to install wordpress again right now and I realise that its from the theme not from wordpress, as I cant see that ‘portfolio’ name anywhere. I thought I had a wordpress problem (bit difficult to know when first starting) so that kind of explains why its not working I guess, must be a theme issue.

    I think Ill have to wait for the theme people to reply as its a paid for theme, called clique. A name I wont forget after all this hassle ?? and I dont think these forums do support for those themes. Ah well, thanks anyway.
