Basic slideshow is leaving huge white space below it when responsive

Ok, so I see this issue was reported 7 months ago. There have been several plugin updates since then but apparently no solution? Some feedback from the authors would be welcome. Thanks.

@webrightnow – as posted right above yours – please start your own thread if you need help. NGG and WP are now on newer versions – so this is really not a relevant thread AND your site is not identical to anyone else’s. AND it’s always best to start your own thread as per:
