After many years working with woo commerce, I see a rapid evolution according to the trends but left back a lot of miss coordination, conflicts, and basic functions still pending.

For example, for most of the shipping extensions, it′s very hard or impossible to show only 1 shipping when a rule is applied, also to mark free shipping when a rule is 0 cost, also is complicated and turns in conflicts with the standar shipping config.

Conversely, the conflict between functions in plugins and extensions is widespread. For example, the min-max quantities are not compatible with the product bundles.

    and so on…..

    Hi @marketemprende,

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your experience with WooCommerce. We appreciate your long-term commitment to the platform and your insights into its evolution.

We understand that you’ve encountered challenges with coordination, conflicts, and some pending basic functions. Your points are noted.

For example, for most of the shipping extensions, it′s very hard or impossible to show only 1 shipping when a rule is applied, also to mark free shipping when a rule is 0 cost, also is complicated and turns in conflicts with the standar shipping config.

Regarding the difficulty in displaying only one shipping method when a rule is applied, and marking free shipping when a rule is 0 cost, we recommend utilizing Shipping Classes. By assigning Shipping Classes to products and configuring the shipping methods based on these classes, you can achieve more granular control over how shipping rules are applied. You can also use extensions like Conditional Shipping and Payments. This will help streamline the display of shipping methods in accordance with your preferences.

Conversely, the conflict between functions in plugins and extensions is widespread. For example, the min-max quantities are not compatible with the product bundles.

Min/Max Quantities and Product Bundles are compatible with each other as highlighted in the documentation. Please feel free to reach out to us at Woo.com if you are seeing any issues with it.

If you have any other details to share or if there’s anything specific you’d like assistance with, please feel free to reach out. We’re here to help!
