    We are selling courses and donations, which are virtual items so should have no shipping charge.

    But also sell physical items.

    We have shipping rates set up based upon basket value, which correctly calculates the value when only virtual items, but if I have two virtual items and one physical items, it calculates shipping based upon the subtotal, not the subtotal of items that can be shipped.

    Any way around this?

    Instead of the cart value, you can base the rules on the weight. Virtual products and donations have no weight, so you can differentiate the cost in this way.

    However, if you have based rules on the value of the cart to differentiate the costs of shipping, then the matter gets complicated.

    In this situation, the best solution would be to use shipping classes which are supports in PRO vesrion. If you are interested in this solution, please contact me here for more information, because we can’t discuss it on these forums.
