BBpress Inquiry

Is there any way around this problem?

he MAIN problem I had with the bbPress plugin ,was how difficult it was to moderate comments — it
seemed like a) I wasn’t told about new comments on the dashboard the way
that regular comments are (on the side of the screen I get a little
black bubble with a number — for comments, for plugins that need
updating, etc) and it seemed like bbPress didn’t do that. I also didn’t
get a “Pending” section in the interface — if I remember correctly in
order to approve a comment I had to go to “topics” (and separately for
“replies”), go down the list, see which ones need approving, then open
the individual comment and manually change its status to “approved.”
Way too much work considering that for the regular comments in WordPress
I can just bulk-approve comments if there are 10 or 15 comments (by
selecting the boxes to the left of the comments), or at least I get the
option to approve them from the face). Any way around this guys?
