    Hello,

Is anyone else experiencing a problem with 2.8 and their bbPress integration? I upgraded to 2.8 and bbPress still shares the same database, but now users have to log in on both the forum and the main blog site. Is it a cookie issue and how should I resolve? I integrated the two as instructed by bbPress’ video tutorial.

In a weird way, this is a bbPress question.

Check here but I’m pretty sure you need to to REMOVE define('WP_AUTH_COOKIE_VERSION', 1); from your bb-config.php file.

I don’t have that line of code in my bb-config.php file.

I am running the bbPress Integration Plugin in WordPress.

So, if what I am reading is right. I either need to find a hard coded fix or wait for an update to this plugin?

bbPress isn’t a plugin for WordPress, it’s a separate application that happens to be able to tie into WordPress.

I suggest you go over to https://bbpress.org/forums and ask there, or see if someone has a fix. I’ve got bbPress 1.0RC2 and WP 2.8 integrated with no issues, but other people there may have ideas ??
