    Hello,

I have installed BBpress forum and activated the plugin. It’s not showing up in the dashboard.

I tried re-installing and it did not work.
I also tried deactivating all plugins except for BBpress and it still does not show.
I also tried switching twenty one theme and still not showing.

Any ideas? Does it need another plugin to support it? What are some other reasons that could be causing the conflict?

I recommend asking at https://bbpress.org/forums/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I was worried you might say that. It seems that forum gets less responses but I will try.

I figured out what the issue was. When I was cleaning up and changing some admin accounts I deleted mine (I had a backup) but it was assigned the keymaster role. So I removed the only keymaster there was and therefore I didn’t have the appropriate access to receive it on my dashboard.

I was advised to install the bbpack plugin and from there I was able to give myself keymaster access. Problem solved.

Note: have more than one keymaster to help with this issue.
