BBPress Notifications not arriving

  • Hi,

    I have set up your plugin with gmail and the test email is working, along with the password and welcome emails. However, i am not receiving notifications when new replies are posted to subscribed topics.

    Do you have any ideas where to troubleshoot?

    Hello Yukon,

    The plugin bypasses all email sending from your WordPress site to be sent through it.

    If your bbPress notifications are not arriving, here the steps you can take:
    1. Disable WP Email SMTP plugin and check if they arrive without the plugin, chances of which are very low.

    WP Email SMTP plugin works by bypassing all email sent through WP PHP Mail and sends that through SMTP. If the bbPress notification is not arriving it suggests that your emails are not going at all and you need to troubleshoot the bbPress email sending.

    I would suggest you to troubleshoot the problem with plugin disabled first so that you know from where this issue is coming.
