    Seasons greetings!

Thank you for maintaining such a useful plugin ??

Would it be possible to run the bbPress instance on a sub-domain, and still use it as the commenting system on the main-domain?

A real world example would be MacRumors.com

They have a WP ‘front-end’ on the primary domain, Xenforo as the ‘commenting system’ and forum on the sub-domain.

    Thanks again and festive regards!

Ahh that’s a shame, but no worries Robin, and truly appreciate the quick response ??

So would it be simpler to do a custom dev project, rather than hacking from an existing solution then?

    Your insight appreciated!

suspect so – this plugin assumes ‘same site’ all over the place, and might be better to just create only the code you need to link a post to a forum topic and embed.

Cool and thanks again. Looks best to put tender on UpWork then!

Not sure of rules on here, but happy to chat further if that’s the type of paid project you take on Robin, just let me know and I’ll drop you a note through your company…

    Cheers and festive regards!
