bbPress still getting trackbacks after disabling XML-RPC

    Hi,

    I found that on a client site a public forum thread created with bbPress is still getting spam trackbacks, after completely disabling XML-RPC. Perhaps there still is a way around the protection that iThemes Security provides?

    WP: 4.0.1
    iTsec: 4.6.12
    bbPress: 2.5.4
