bbPress vs. SimplePress – which one do you prefer and why?

  • After waiting for what seemed like forever to update my new site’s forums to the latest version of bbPress, I decided to use SimplePress instead. Except for the support forums feature on bbP, SimplePress fills the need and more – I like the post linking feature, it works flawlessly. I had tried to install bbsync with WP2.3 and it was a disaster. Not so here – just select the forum you want to post to when you’re making a blog post and voila! God, I love it when things work!

    I’m just curious to hear from those who have experience using either or both. Wish I could start a poll…

  • Another vote for Simple Press

    I found both of them easy to install.

    But I just prefer the look and the user experience of Simple press – searching and browsing are easy and intuitive.

    I use bbPress. I like it a lot, it’s fast, customizable, and if you have some WP knowledge you can easily make plugins. One vote for bbPress here ??
