I’m noticing that when this plugin is active I am not able to use a modified version of the press-this bookmarklet.

    I have two questions:

1 – is it okay to “bypass” BBQ if a user is logged in? Is that even possible or is the script loaded before the user object is available?

2 – I notice that there is no log of what BBQ has prevented. Would you consider adding a logging function that shows just what BBQ has stopped? This would be helpful in my case as I’m considering removing the plugin but don’t know what benefit it has had on my site.

    Thanks!

If you let me know the URL(s) involved with the custom bookmarklet, it should be possible to resolve via functions snippet or direct modification.

    1) “is it okay to “bypass” BBQ if a user is logged in? Is that even possible or is the script loaded before the user object is available?”

I’ll have to double-check when I get back to the office, but for now you may want to examine the three filter hooks (located near the beginning of the plugin file).

    2) “I notice that there is no log of what BBQ has prevented. Would you consider adding a logging function that shows just what BBQ has stopped? This would be helpful in my case as I’m considering removing the plugin but don’t know what benefit it has had on my site.”

Probably want to keep the free version of BBQ as simple as possible, but something like that will be a feature of BBQ Pro.

    Thanks for the feedback!
