• At first glance the plugin runs as it should. I decided to print out a heading on my page instead of running a script and see how well it performed within 10 minutes I noticed that it was failing to load. There are several issues causing the plugin to enable cookies when it should, and to disable them when it shouldn’t. If you decide to use it I would suggest you monitor it as I did for a day.

    Hi @kalenmike,

We are extremely sorry to have caused you any kind of trouble. With proper configuration, we can assure you that the plugin will work perfectly and help you meet your GDPR requirements.

First thing you need to do is to move the scripts you use in your site that set cookies to our plugin settings to manage theme based on user consent. For example, if you have Google Analytics scripts in theme header file, you need to copy it to the plugin option under GDPR Cookie Consent menu > Non Necessary Cookie page and remove it from the theme.

Once you do this for all scripts you will be able to manage the site cookies entirely using the plugin. Also, note that a page reload is required after ACCEPT to run the scripts and set cookies.

We would really appreciate it if you could please ensure that you have necessary configurations in place.

How can I determine or identify and find those scripts?

@saschinger Good question. I’d like to know the answer to this as well.

    Hi @wyohost,

For the scripts related to any non-necessary plugin cookies, for any plugin, you may contact the plugin vendor and they will be able to provide you with the required scripts. The site owner is supposed to know the whereabouts of the cookies used in the site. Please contact your site developer or concerned person for assistance.
