I realize everyone’s out to get something for free these days, and it’s great that this plugin is free. However, it WILL NOT WORK for a site larger than 512MB, and most sites probably will be bigger than that.

I spent the last few hours watching this plugin succeed where others failed in successfully creating a backup and allowing me to download. Sadly, my backup is nearly 2GB in size and I cannot afford to pay $59.00 for the “unlimited extension” that removes this restriction so I can upload the backup copy it made.

My site is my hobby. I charge nothing to my visitors and I don’t even display ads, so I make no revenue on it. I was using the plugin merely to make a clone of my site to put in a “dev” subdomain so I could test changes, themes and new plugins before using them on the live site.

It’s also sad to see that the negative reviews are only addressed by the developer if the person who posted isn’t complaining about having to pay. That being said, I fully expect I will never get any kind of response to this review.

5 Stars for a great plugin, but I will not be able to use it after all due to cost involved in restoring a “large site”.
