first, disabuse yourself of this idea: Brizy is not plug-and-play. nor is Squarespace, for that matter. Brizy is best thought of as an overlay on top of WP. the approach that worked for me was to get a theme (Blocksy) that wasn’t the new block-oriented WP, eliminate most plugins (to start), and learn how to use Brizy. the YT videos are great, but, honestly, you’ll just need to be patient and learn the basics.
don’t expect magic from templates; those have limited functionality. concentrate on what you want your site to do, then what you want it to look like. find the Brizy elements that make that happen for you, and learn how they work. start simple, build it up.
and always remember: content matters far more than style. make sure you use Brizy to enhance your content, not to just make a pretty site.
