Be sure you want THIS plugin
-
The plug-in didn’t work after I bought it, but the author was nice enough to email me a version. I was having trouble updating the dated version he emailed me so I asked for the most recent pro version, which he then emailed me. You have to copy and paste a file to tell the regular version to be pro. I did that. Still, when I click ‘settings’ under Alphabetic Pagination on the plug-in page, I get an error stating that I do not have the correct user permissions even though I purchased the plug-in. I asked for my money back. The author asked for my FTP log-in info which I gave him, but I don’t really feel comfortable giving that to a stranger. He also told me that he can’t give me a refund per the policy unless “any feature described is missing or I am unable to provide you support or make it work”.
I shouldn’t have to wait for the plug-in to work to get a refund. There are a lot of intricacies involved in setting this plug-in up and I would’ve preferred something more simple. The refund policy should say you get a refund if the plug-in takes too long to set up because I’m tired of wasting time with Alphabetic Pagination. Sigh. Lesson learned.
(I loved the idea of this plug-in, but then I realized that I’m probably better off using a catalog catalog of sorts because I have different genres of movies. The alphabetization might be helpful, but I prefer the catalog and sub-catalog method. )
