• I got this plugin looking at all the reviews. Disclaimer: I have the free version, not the premium.

I have been using it to take backups which works fine (I think so anyway). Yesterday I had a problem with my site and I had to restore from the backup. Guess what, it is not possible to do this using the free version. You have to pay $69 plus $29 PER MONTH to get the restore function or to be able to upload the backup file using the Import function. Can I just say that given the COVID situation and the fact that I run a small business, this is a big amount for me at the moment. And I did feel held to ransom by the plugin developers. Not very nice.

Unless you want the premium version, I would suggest looks elsewhere.

  • This review is misleading and false.

You can use the import function for free up to 512MB.

Its a ONE TIME FEE of 69$ for unlimited use, no monthly fee.

That’s 69$ to save your butt, is it worth it? Yes.

This have NOTHING to do with COVID-19. Don’t pull that card. If anything, they need to get money on the table, too. You use the tool FOR FREE.

Disclaimer: I don’t work for Servmask and I don’t represent them. I’m just not liking the lies on a plugin that works great and is a core tool for me. More respect to the developers of this plugin.

Pal, I am not trying to LIE. I hit this issue. And it wouldn’t let me import.
Went to the site to buy the upgrade and that is what I saw. I wish I had taken a picture for you. But it definitely said $69 to buy and another $29 per month, WHICH I CANNOT AFFORD AT THE MOMENT BECAUSE MY BUSINESS IS SUFFERING. And it’s not ‘pulling a card’. It’s the life of a small startup. Get real.
I have since purchased another plugin which works much better to ‘Save my butt’.

Actually both of the statement are correct above. One time fee of $69 USD for private use but if you use it on a site that is not private then $69 USD one time fee and $29 USD PER MONTH on the top of that. Why the one time fee as well as the monthly one? One or the other but both, give us a break.
As chandinpaterson said it is too much for these times and you easily go over the 512Mb these days on a website. We were willing to pay the one time fee of $69 but not $29 EACH MONTH on the top of the $69. We are also looking for another solution.

The plugin is good but the pricing structure sucks especially now that most of us have to tighten the budget due to the COVID.

I am curious @chandinipaterson what onther pluging are you using because I just had to go through a manual clean up of our website due to some malicious code getting through.
