• It’s nice, but after sinking hours into using this theme to build a website, I discovered that this theme is incompatible with most plugins. Be warned.

    Which plugins did you try?

    Interactive World Map
Google Map (forgot the exact name)
    Awesome Filterable Portfolio
And a bunch of other map and portfolio plugins. I found only one map plugin and no portfolio plugin which worked.

I’m fairly certain it’s a problem with the theme, as the same plugins worked in my other website and most of them were compatible with the current version of wordpress.

Thanks for the comments. Will check and get them resolved in next update.

Hi, I ran into another issue. I can’t alter the size of my feature image for my blog posts. I’ve tried editing the functions php file by inserting (set_post_thumbnail_size( 60, 60 );), but to no avail; no matter what I do the image size seems to be stuck at 406 x 183 pixels, even if the nature size is 300 x 200. I’ve double checked by opening the image file in the website, and indeed the size is 300 x 200, so I don’t understand why it resizes to 406 x 183 or why changing the php seems to do nothing. Thanks!

Update: I think I made some progress in figuring it out. Check out this link here:

I checked out the CSS code — everything is fine and dandy. But weirdly, there’s this bit of code from an earlier version of the stylesheet that’s overriding the current version! I.e. version 4.1.1.101 is overriding 4.1.1.206. What is going on here? Any guidance? I’m not particularly sophisticated with any of this stuff so I’m pretty clueless on how to fix it.

OK, I am good! I overrided the old version by using !important and inserting in the CSS code (for reference for other people who might stumble upon this…)

But my original issue with the plugin incompatibility still stands, so if you guys can get that fixed it’d be much appreciated. thanks!
